Jordan’s Miracle Morning & Daily Rituals:
My Miracle Morning starts the night before. Preparation makes the difference. Before going to bed, I make time to go over my calendar for the next day and make lists of “to-do’s.” Writing things down adds intention and accountability. I also keep a journal on my night stand, in case I get ideas or dreams and want to take notes. Inspiration comes in its own time.
I make sure that I get a full 8 hours of sleep. For me, it makes all the difference in having a positive, productive, and energetic day. As I fall asleep I focus on the expectation that AWESOME is going to happen.
My Rise and Shine time fluctuates between 545am and 730am depending on the day of the week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I have early morning team calls and will begin my morning routine after they are complete. I enjoy being flexible with my routine start time, but remain diligent with my process.
My morning ritual begins here: I turn on Kundalini Music (Snatam Kaur Pandora station) and begin by brushing my teeth. Relaxing by focusing on my breathing allows my mind to clear and provide space for the activities of the day.
I make my bed every morning. My mother always wanted us to do this when we were little and I would fight it every chance I got. Now I see how making your bed truly sets the tone for the rest of the day.
I draw back the curtains, say good morning to the world and say a prayer of gratitude. I never want to take for granted the space I hold in the world, so I do my best to celebrate it every morning.
Making my way to the kitchen I straighten up the house. I love having a clean space to start the day. Again, my mom would be proud. Shocked, but proud!
I also start the day with a mix of 33 different green foods from land and sea. Having something this full of nutrients first thing in the morning helps my brain work. It also jump starts my metabolism and keep my system alkaline.
I then light my candles, do my morning reading and daily journaling. I journal because writing things down makes things real. And helps focus my intentions.
Once my spirit, body, environment, and intention are set, I’m ready to engage the rest of the world.
HI WORLD. I go over emails, texts, Facebook and Instagram messages and posts to stay connected. Half the world is awake while I slept - I wonder what they did?
I go over my list from the night before, adding items that have come up from morning emails. This is also the time that I set my goals for the day. How many people am I going to reach out to, follow up with etc. The names and numbers are on my list. Being specific and rooted in reality is key.
9am M,W,F workout some days I prefer the classes offered at my gym at 12 and 430.
